I hate to do a versus thing with Diablo 3, because it's probably been done to death, but I think I like the graphics here more, despite their simplistic look. I played it last night for 1-2 hours and hit level 8, and I must say I'm hooked! The graphics look a bit simple, but honestly, I like them. My brother just picked it up, so I decided to give it another try, since we hardly get to hang out, and a good multiplayer game can bridge that gap. I had this for a little while now from a previous sale, but hadn't played it as I was a bit burnt on ARPG's after Diablo 3.

Apocalypse Veteran and Elite are basically impossible to do solo, and will require coop to succeed in.ДЄnd you can link the two, if you'd prefer, so you can run Apocalypse Synergies, which is basically extra hard + extra bosses. Apocalyse Normal is about as hard as you'll be able to do solo. Basically, Apocalypse Casual is a bit more difficult than vanilla Elite. If that's still too boring for you, look into the Apocalypse Mod. It also has some 'end-game' content, where you kill big/bad/tough/strong bosses for legendary set-piece loot. To start, Synergies is more difficult than vanilla.

There are a number of 'extended difficulty' mods as well. I got into this recently after watching one of My EVE buddies Twitch streams where he was playing co-ops, picked it up and really enjoying it, not modded yet but will do so when we run extreme difficulty co-ops This will tell you when you try to start the game with that character, though, and automatically enable those mods if you restart.

If you want to play a vanilla character with mods, just copy the folder for that particular character, and it should work fine.ДЄdditionally, some mods will 'bind' a character, in that that character cannot be run without that mod enabled. With that said, are there any necessary mods or anything I should grab? I saw some user created content on Steam. Plays really well on my PC, and is a ton of fun so far. Played the original to death on Xbox Live Arcade (I don't play much on PC), but I just had to get this. Finally grabbed this game in the Gamefly sale for 5 bucks.
